Famous

Kids from a little town, our dreams were all we knew
Writing songs, singing them in the shadow of the moon
We were young and happy is all we knew
Time caught up and the city swallowed you
You sang alone and the world loved you
Now you live next to the stars, seeing you only from above

At the Cafe we used to play, I still sing my all
A part of me hoping you will one day walk through those doors
Bringing back feelings I knew lost
Singing songs we wrote when we were young and free
Just to fight the feeling you are too famous for me
I put my all but it never sounds the same, it was never made for one

^^^
Blue skies keeping me in my place
So far away I don't think you could ever wait
To be honest it's an honor to still cross your mind
Hoping you ain't too famous for us

Edna's smile

Blessed are beautiful, the glass is always greener on their side To those with art on their whole, the world falls for you daily, We are strange beings entangled in a story of love and betrayal Looking into each other for answers, finding uncertainty and pain We are the rare breed placed to bring difference in this revolving place They might never get our ways so we strive to make our presence felt We stand half emply , veins running cold of red roses I wish we could pretend that we never felt, that it never hurt when Tinkerbel left Always so close to the finish line, almost at the end of it all 🔹 Do we deserve to be happy, do we deserve all we go through So young yet always in panic Maybe it's just the Kenya we are living in now Where they sleep tight knowing they murdered families, killed mothers in the name of pride At a point of giving up on humanity, if God was reality it would be raining fire Walking away in silence, leaving it to karma With a blunt I rolled up...

She is mine

We got married last night, it was a scene under the fire lights. It was the time of our life, we fucked right next to her father's ride It was a perfect time like the shine of a new year's sky. She cry as she held me tight, she was happy to be free of her life We went and hid in the mountain sides Started something meant to last a lifetimes Years in bliss living a dangerous life Riding to the sunlight till its our time With her eyes closed I just stare and she is mine It's nothing much than luck for a lonely man Images : pinterest
